At FHI one of our core values and most valuable resource is our people. We place great emphasis on the personal and professional development of our associates. When we grow the quality of our leaders, we grow the quality of our service.
We do this through intentional leadership education consisting of over 15 different workshops that have been developed by FHI to address the specific qualities needed to serve our industry. We involve our people in relevant book studies from various NY Times Best Selling authors. These efforts are lead by FHI’s Director of Leadership Development. We also invest in various leadership conferences that benefit the growth of our people and our service.
The technical and life development of our people begins on day one. We have a program where every new associate (protégé) is placed with a mentor to ensure the technical aspects of the job are learned. The mentor’s focus is on building a positive relationship, developing a safe work ethic and productive mindset to provide the highest level of service possible for our customer. The protégé must be able to pass an OSHA certified written and practical test for each specific piece of equipment used. They are also trained in the area of Hazmat and all other safety protocols necessary.
We believe that the investment in our people will be realized in the service to our customers.
